goood book to read and really helpful. i think you need only this one to prepare you for law boot camp
If you are going into law school, read this book and take it to heart. It really explains in detail - much needed detail how to make the transition. Believe me, if you are going into law school, you need this book.
As a student going into 1L year in just a few weeks, this book feels as though it prepared me in regards to what to expect and some of the basic skills I should know or will be learning, like how to effectively brief a case and how to "think like a lawyer" in terms of a law school exam.
I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in law school. I actually think reading this before you take the LSAT is the way to go. I graduate in two weeks and can say that this book really helped prepare me for the challenge.
I prefer Succeeding in Law School over Bridging the Gap, having been mandated to read both. There is much more helpful information in Succeeding in Law School.

This book is not worth purchasing. Although it may ease anxiety before law school, it is not useful in practice. You can certainly get by in law school without having ever seen this book.
This book spends all its pages letting you know that your undergraduate career was a breeze and how worthless you are without law school. Take it from a now 3L - yes, law school is insanely hard. But that does not mean that undergrad was easy. Waste of a book.
